Is parking available at the venue?
Yes. The Fundação Champalimaud has a paid underground car park with more than 400 spaces.

Is there a registration fee?
Registration is free for members of the Armed Forces. For civilian participants from outside the Armed Forces, the registration fee is €100.
What are the main topics of the Congress?
The Congress will address topics related to the challenges facing Military Health in new operational environments, defence-applied research, force protection and operational readiness, human capacity development, the response of military health systems in disaster situations, clinical and translational research, and innovation in Military Health.
What information is required to register?
The form requests the participant’s name, email address and institution or organisation, as well as acceptance of the Privacy Policy.
The form also includes information regarding consent for image capture during the event.
What is included in the registration?
The registration fee includes access to all sessions, a certificate of participation, two meals, two welcome coffees, one coffee break, as well as the congress folder and documentation.
What language will the Congress be held in?
The Congress will be held in Portuguese, with simultaneous translation into English via subtitles, allowing international participants to follow the content.

The 1st International Congress on Military Health Research will take place on 25 and 26 September 2026 at the Champalimaud Foundation in Lisbon.
